Fuji apples are tasty and something to add to the list.

Braeburn apples while they are tart enough are too mushy to be enjoyable. Try again to elminate the possibility of one bad apple.

Yeah, try braeburns again when they're in season. It's not really apple season, is it?

True story. It's not apple season yet.

I've had some really good braeburns - but it's kind of late in the year for local apples. (I'm mostly eating fujis right now.)

Another point is to not buy Braeburns from the grocery store. Organic and/or farmers market are your best bets, but I've also had mushy organic Braeburns from the store. A good Braeburn is an incredibly awesome thing, though.

Try again to elminate the possibility of one bad apple. One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch boy.
