I've just been told that a very good friend of mine has passed away. ranjtheobscure was a very positive influence in my life during a very bad spell. We were chatting online the other night and making plans for him to come visit. I'm just stunned right now.

Being so far away and not part of his Kansas City circle of friends I have no details. Does anyone there know anything more? Can you ask?

I can't even express how sad this makes me.
