hollyking | Tom Who?

Well tonight was the first kendo class. creektoad, monkey_shines, merry_andrew and I were there with 71 other people who had seen The Last Samurai recently. Our class is at the Obukan dojo and Sensei Stroud said this was the largest introductory class they've ever had.

The class was enjoyed by all and I'm looking forward to next week. Before then I'll have to work on a lot of stretching because I had some problem with kneeling and a few other movements. Nothing permanent, but I've been relatively inactive for so long that I've lost motion in my lower body. The other stayed behind to watch the advanced class, but I had some plans with hollyqueen so I left and came home.

Speaking of hollyqueen she is my joy and love. I didn't feel like going tonight, but she gave me the boot that I needed to get out of the house. I feel much better for having gone to class. She's makes me want to be a better bear.
