Sex Sausage?

This morning’s news tidbit comes from Deutsche Welle. It seems that a customer hid a vibrator in a sausage and gave it to an employee in a butcher’s shop for safe keeping. My favorite bit of the article is this quote:

She (the employee) summoned the local police, who discovered that the sausage contained an unspecified device intended to give pleasure in ways foreign to the nature of a normal food product.

Although a close second is:

“That sort of thing isn’t illegal in our country,” said a police spokesperson to the dpa news agency.

Authorities suspect that the customer was intending to smuggle the device into Dubai, where sex toys are illegal.
