1790 yen? That's, what, 19 dollars? That's not right. Going from the translation above, I think maybe you get like one gear of the kit per issue of this space magazine or something.
It looks to me like there are 52 packages being released one per week (http://www.de-club.net/tmt/issue.php), with each package containing a few of the parts of the orrery, a part of the instructions, and some printed material about the solar system. You'd have to wait until next January to have all the pieces. (You'd have the Sun out through the Earth-Moon system after part 9 or 10, I think, given what they've outlined from the first 10 parts)
For instance, part 4 (coming out on the 10th) will have Mercury, the arm holding Mercury, a gear and some screws. The printed material includes a star map of the constellation Pegasus, some material about Egyptian astronomy, part 1 of a guide to the solar system, and more.
Part 6 (coming out on the 24th) will have Venus, the arm holding Venus, the arm for the gear for Earth (probably for the moon etc), three gears and a screw. The printed material includes a star map tracing Venus's path around the sky, a map of Venus's terrain, pictures of the clouds of Venus, an overview of the Babylonian astronomy about Venus, and more.
Each part costs ¥1790 ($19.64 at today's exchange rates) except the first, which is only ¥790. Plus, you can buy their assembly kit (screwdrivers and dust brushes), and a binder with which to index all of the printed matter for ¥690 or ¥1290, depending on when it's ordered. So it's looking like a thousand dollar kit, all told, not including the overseas shipping.
Yes, it's damned pretty in the pictures, but I think you can find a less expensive one.

An orrery subscription?
