I couldn't have said it better...

I like Penny Arcade! Gabe and Tycho have been on the mark so often in their criticism of the game industry. The other day however, they took on Brian Herbert and his interpretation of the Dune novels. I completely agree with their sentiments.

In other news, there are only a few hours until my party at the Rheinlander tonight. Horay for accordians, saurkraut and Spaten Optimator!! Even better are all my friends who are going to join me to celebrate. charlie_bear, loree and maybe datavore are even going to be here. Wo0t!

Final Fantasy XI

Well I sent the beta HD back to Sony, and UPS shows they delivered it this morning. Sigh, two weeks without FFXI. However, in my email I received a note about them shipping out the retail version of the game and HD sometime in the next couple of weeks?!!!?? Does this mean I'll get to play on the PS2 before the HD is generally available next May? Sweet!

Now to stay calm while waiting for people to arrive for tonights festivities. I'm not that good at waiting... Gaah!
