Klabautermann?

Greetings!

As a side project during the day I've been attempting to translate German lyrics into English so I know what the heck I'm singing about throughout the day. I've hit a word and I can't find a definition. All my tricks and dictionaries have failed me. I was hoping someone here could help me.

What is the meaning of Klaubautermann? From the rest of the lyrics I've been able to translate I guess it has something to do with someone on a boat or ship.
