Well it's a perfect record. Every time I go to fly someone in the "security" line in front of me has to get stopped and checked for all kinds of contraband. First, she can't get through the metal detector because of the jewelry and big shiny belt buckle. Then as her bag is going through the x-ray machine its pulled aside because she has packed a pair of scissors. Does she move to the side to deal with the issue like a reasonable person? No, she has to keep blocking the line while she explains that she's moving and didn't think the scissors would be a problem. Sigh.
Everything else has gone well this morning. Got up on time even though we almost had a mishap when I set the alarm for 5:30pm instead of 5:30am. Out the door without any trouble. While not empty there wasn't much traffic. Just a few crazy people speeding to make it to the ski slopes early. There wasn't a long line at the "security" checkpoint. Now I'm sitting here at our gate just using up the free WiFi while we wait to board. Go us!
In 10 hours I get to see my Grandma again! Go me!
P.S. I used the spell checker on the LJ page and it said I misspelled WiFi. It's first suggestion for a replacement is WiFi. Wah?
