Seattle Beer Tour

When I lived in Portland I had the idea for a "Portland Pub Crawl." Where a group would go out and review a pub and blog about it. We visited a few places but it quickly fell apart as the group had other interests. I still like the idea but don't like the idea of trying to wrangle folks and organize schedules. Being the clever tool-using monkey that I am I'm going to try again with a different plan.

This time I'll post where and when I'll be checking out new beers or locations and invite anyone interested to come join me. We all have busy lives so I'm not going to try and schedule anything but if you're free you should come out for a pint or two. No pressure, no plans. Just some socializing and me scribbling down a few notes.

So to kick off my Seattle Beer Tour I'll be at Pillagers Pub tonight at 7:30pm. I'm interested in trying the Rauchbier and the Helles Bock. I'd also like to try the Dampfbier and Roggenbier, but those are only occasionally brewed so I don't think they'll have any for sale.

The next stop will be 7pm on Thursday at Über. klicrai has put a bug in my ear about Grand Cru and so we're going to give it a shot.
