A few days ago tithonium was wondering about the computer hardware used to land people on the moon during the Apollo missions. Well this isn't a complete answer but someone has recreated the Apollo Guidance Computer (AGC) which was used in the Apollo's Command Module (CM) and Landing Module (LM). Even better he has provided plans and documentation so you can build your own. So here's exact information about some of the computers used to get to the moon.
