I stagger in to work today. I'm a little sad this morning. cheesentoast is leaving for school today and stopped off to see her for the last time. We've had our ups and downs but she's been a good friend to me and was there to help during a very bad time in my life. I know she's making the right choice, but I'm going to miss her.

When I open my email I'm shocked to see the subject line "Shipping Confirmation" on a message from Apple.com. Woo-Hoo! My shiny new toy has shipped! No, not really. The developer kit has shipped and should be here on Monday. Great, no I get to look at the shiny software that I can't use because the system isn't here yet. Oh, well... At least I can start reading up on developing Mac applications. I still need to come up with a name too.
