I didn't like that job anyway!

As of 4:45pm today I am back in the job market. I was fired for lack of progress over the last 10 months on a project. A project that four other developers before me almost lost their jobs over because the managers never gave any information about what they really wanted. They would just say that it wasn't good enough and to fix it. Never a word about what they would consider "good enough."

I'm concerned about money but I'm not really upset about losing the job. I've been very unhappy there for a long time.

If anyone knows of any Perl, C or C++ jobs I'm all ears.

Lack of progress on the project was the reason I was given. Not that I was ever given any direction on the expected progress.

New fun fact for the day: You can file for unemployment online in Oregon. One task done on my todo list. ;)

They only set that filing stuff up in the last year.. before that you could make your weekly claim online but still had to make your inital file by mail.
Then when i tried that at first someone stole my application with SSN on it.
