Monday's always make me blue...

Last night I thought I shut the car and went in for the evening. This morning as hollyqueen and I were getting in the car there was stuff from inside the car strewn around the ground. Our first thought was that it had fallen out when getting out of the car. Then we found the ashtray upside down on the seat. When we looked up and found both of our CD holders missing we made the connection that someone had gone through our car.

The only major missing item was a low-limit credit card that I use to buy gas. They also made off with a few CDs (I wonder if any of them are Kansas fans) and less than $1 in change (that used to sit in the bottom of the ashtray). I called CapitalOne first thing this morning to report the stolen card. After canceling my account and setting up a new one the representative let me know that the card had been declined three times this morning.

There wasn't any apparent damage so I must have not closed the door completely when I got in last night. So the biggest loss is me being mad at myself for not closing the door and a bit of music. At least it's supposed to be cooler today.

Ack! I'm glad you still had a car to get into this morning!!
And yes, thank goodness for the cooler temperature. Who would have ever thought I'd be happy with 91 degrees. :)

I think it was probably kids who just rifled through for some stuff. There was a stereo and some stuff in the trunk that they could have stolen but they didn't even pull the latch to look. They would have found more CDs if they had. ;)

Thank goodness it's supposed to be cooler - the NW is NOT supposed to be this hot!
