My main project at work is to create a system for storing QA test plans in a database format and provide statistics on the data. Not very fun, but at least it's better than sitting around doing nothing. To communicate information with everyone who's involved in the project I've setup a weekly meeting on Monday afternoons. The meetings entire purpose is to answer questions and discuss the project direction. This week, I sat in the meeting room for 30 minutes before giving up and going back to work.
The Director of QA who's driving this project, and has no idea how to manage a developer, just walked into my cube and told me he was going to set up a meeting for tomorrow. The purpose? Why, to discuss the direction of the project and answer questions people might have.
What the hell were these idiots on Monday?
Damn, I really hate working here sometimes. So, datavore can you get me the hook-up before taking on your new job?
