Moving Ups and Downs

The Ups: Stuff is going out to charity tonight and tomorrow. Just the living room, kitchen and bathrooms to pack.

The Downs: One more day driving with the sun at my back. Moving to Seattle removes the ability to place holds at King County Libraries. Lack of vacation time means I only get one day for the actual move.

I can say that the Seattle Public Library has been very good at holds for the books I am reading, and asking for. They even ordered one from a library in California via interlibrary loan.

Now that I'm close to a SPL branch I'll be using their holds more. The thing I'm going to miss is using KCLS's Bellevue branch to pickup holds at lunch.

I'll give up holds at KCLS to live closer to the Central branch. That place rocks my socks.
