I'm working on creating a stop-motion film. Being a "responsible" adult I don't want to blow my budget and derail my debt reduction progress. So I'm going to use my Canon PowerShot A620 and I need a tripod to keep it steady while taking the still shots. I've looked at building a bottle cap tripod but that won't aim the camera at the angle I need. The camera can sit on the table so a tripod doesn't need to be tall. I would like to tilt the camera to get the desired perspective. The tripod doesn't have to be heavy duty as the A620 is a P&S camera and doesn't weigh much.

My question to you, you wonderful photographers, is what inexpensive tripod would you recommend?

The one in my case that I don't use.
I have a 6" flexy tripod from a hit.

Those do look good. Inexpensive too.

I have a small table top tripod that also has a velcro strap system. It is small enough to go on top of a table or can be strapped to a fence post. I think it is called a mini-tripod, but the brand name escapes me. I recall paying less than $20 for it.
