Once upon a time in the mid to late '90s, there was this social networking site called Six Degrees. It was pretty good, if somewhat limited. But, like most dot.com doohickeys with no real revenue model, they ran out of money, and now their domain is being used by yet another lame blog site.

datavore has been working on a replacement. Now keep in mind, this site is so very beta. Features and enhancements are changing on a daily (and in some cases hourly) basis. There is an "is disgusted by" link thanks to my suggestion. But it's fun, and it's interesting, and I want to get higher on the "most linked" lists. Right now I don't even make the top 10.

If you do sign up, please, for the love of all that's (un)holy, link to someone. And use your real name, or some recognizable combination of your real name and nickname. The point of this exercise is *social* networking, after all.
