Day 3 of taking Byetta and I haven't gotten scales or the coloring of a Gila Monster. How long is this supposed to take? Peter Parker developed his spider powers overnight. What about me?! (I seem to be adjusting to Byetta and don't suffer as much nausea as I did the first day. My appetite is certainly much less than it was.)

I couldn't sleep so at 3am I went to check a few things. I looked at our bank account and was stunned to see that we were overdrawn by $600. hollyqueen lost her debit card last week but we reported it days before these charges. So this morning she called to dispute the withdrawals. It seems someone duplicated my debit card and went to town. The end of the story is that we both get new debit cards and we will get our money back. Eventually. Grumble.

I went to see Get Smart (2008) with cheesentoast last night. I really enjoyed the film. They didn't duplicate the show so if that's what you want to see you're going to be dissapointed. I think they captured the spirit of the show but made their own story.

Oh, and I'm wearing this shirt to work today! Go me!
