I’m catching up on my backlog of podcasts when I was treated to a gem of a song by the My Germany podcast. The group The BossHoss performs covers of hit pop, rock and hip hop songs in a country/western style. My treat from their first album Internashville Urban Hymns was a cover of Word Up! by Cameo.
...Time is fleeting. Madness takes its toll.
Ahh... I love this song. Time to start grooving to the music. Hmm... This is a new version I haven't heard before. I must have gotten it with that Halloween playlist I bought on iTunes.
I remember the time warp! Drinking those moment when the blackness within me and a voice would be calling, "Let's do the time warp again!"
Must not dance in the hallway!
It's just a jump to the left. And then a step to the right. Put your hands on your hips. And bring your knees in tight. But it's the way you shake it. That really drives you insane.
Wha? Where's the pelvic thrust? That's what drives me insane. Looking at the information on my iPod I see that iTunes used Kidz Bop Kids version of the Time Warp from the Kidz Bop Halloween album. Mind flips, sedation and sensations are ok for kids but they can't know about pelvic thrusts. That would get them thinking about haute seks.
