Teeth that look like... Teeth
Oct. 9th, 2006 01:58 pmLast friday I was eating some Corn Nuts and I noticed that one of teeth felt funny. It turns out that a section on the side had broken off and was nowhere to be found. While I had a jagged tear in my tooth it didn't hurt and I was able to wait until this morning to get it fixed. The dentist found the old filling in the adjacent tooth was starting to decay and I had a couple of small cavities too. So she fixed the cavities, replaced the filling and repaired my tooth. Dentists don't use the silver amalgam they used to use but a new composite that looks just like my tooth. So now I don't have huge metal sections on a couple of my teeth anymore.
I'm not going to get anything done but my fillings are all very old and I know at least two others that need to be replaced. So eventually I won't have metal teeth anymore. It's not much but I have to find something positive about going to a place of eternal pain and torment.
BTW: Avoid the Corn Nuts. Those things will kill you!
